ABOUT PROCONSULT

Building a Bridge Between People and Product

ProConsult began with a single truth: building great products isn’t just about features—it’s about people. My journey started in education, but I quickly found myself drawn to technology’s power to solve real-world problems. As I worked alongside physicians, startups, and software teams, I discovered my purpose: bridging the gap between people and product with empathy, strategy, and execution.

Through ProConsult, I’ve helped organizations bring their ideas to life—whether that’s launching new platforms, untangling roadmaps, or simply getting stuck projects unstuck. My approach is hands-on, thoughtful, and always centered around delivering value.

ORIGIN STORY

"Execution is empathy in action."
— Tricia Barnes

I didn’t plan to become a founder. I built ProConsult because I saw too many projects fall apart—not from lack of talent, but from a lack of understanding between people and product.

I’ve worked with startups, associations, and software teams who had big ideas but struggled to execute. I realized my strength wasn’t just managing—it was bridging gaps, clearing roadblocks, and turning chaos into clarity.

ProConsult is what happens when you mix empathy with action. I lead from the middle, not the top. I speak business and tech, and I make sure both sides walk away heard, understood, and aligned.

How I Make A Difference-With Heart

“The ones who need the most love ask for it in the quietest ways.” - Anonymous

I’ve always believed that love is a verb.

Whether I’m fostering bulldogs, supporting rescue organizations, or volunteering for inclusive community events, giving back is how I stay connected to what matters: compassion, connection, and purpose.

Over the years, I’ve contributed to causes like the Special Olympics, World Information Architecture Day, Synapse Summit, and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. But nothing has taught me more about empathy than sitting eye to eye with a scared rescue pup and simply offering presence.

I don’t just believe in making an impact—I believe in doing it with heart.

  • Humane Society of Tampa Bay

  • Special Olympics

  • Synapse Summit

  • A Kitten Place

  • Florida Bulldog Rescue

These moments—quiet, kind, and full of care—are the ones that define me most.

Continuous Learning

I am deeply committed to continuous learning and have completed over 50 professional development courses over the past 10 years. Lately, I’ve become especially passionate about artificial intelligence—how it’s reshaping the way we work, connect, and create.

Through LinkedIn Learning, I’ve completed more than 10 AI-focused courses on generative tools, large language models, and conversational AI—alongside training in communication, emotional intelligence, and project and product management. These courses help me bring fresh insights and practical skills to every project I lead.
